The New Englanders are a country/folk/bluegrass band hailing from Southern New Hampshire. Our trio sounds great but we also perform as a six piece acoustic band with banjo, fiddle and bass. We have been performing regularly since 2006 throughout New England where we bring their toe-tapping, family-friendly music to local county fairs, festivals, coffee houses and other venues and offer a variety of originals and popular cover tunes ranging from Johnny Cash and Alison Krause, to the Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan and many more.
The groups performs from May through December December and have a full calendar of Private Events, Festivals, Old Home Days, and Farmer’s Markets with the goal of reaching out to as many bluegrass/country/folk lovers as possible by live performance.
The band won the monthly JamOFF in Relix Magazine (October 2014) for The Joan Song, a new single for the band now available on iTunes and The New Englander’s first CD recording, Main Street, can be streamed and purchased online at iTunes, CD Baby.com and Spotify and has been featured on WERU 89.9 Bangor, ME and on WRUV 90.1 FM in Burlington, Vermont and Homegrown Radio, New Jersey; www.homegrownradionj.org.
